We rented 4 bungalows and the sleeping accommodations worked out great with at least 2 beds in each, one with 3 beds. We were a group of 12 traveling with 6 adults and 6 kids. Our stay at Costa de Papito was wonderful. When we asked to refund the second night, we were told it was not possible. They had no other bungalows available, so we packed up our things and left early for the next leg of our trip. The following day, friendly workers tried to fix the water all day but it was clear to use that this was an existing problem that was not able to be repaired. Her comment was unprofessional and unnecessary. Secondly, hot water is not a big request when you are paying $130 a night for a bungalow. When 45 minutes went by and it started to get later, I stopped by and told them that he still had not come, she went in the back and said loudly that I was crying about not having hot water.įirst of all, I did not cry so I do not appreciate her snarky attitude. The young lady at the desk said that he would stop by in 5 minutes. So I went to the front desk and asked for someone to help. When we went to take showers the first night, the hot water did not work. However, our bungalow was nothing like the pictures, so do not expect your bungalow to look anything like the pictures. We had two nights booked for a bungalow and we knew going in that it would be more rustic lodging than other destinations, since Puerto Viejo is a more laid-back vibe.
